Tricostar, a leading developer and supplier of web based management solutions, today announced the launch of the latest developments to their time recording product – Timebase.

Timebase v10.0 is a comprehensive, easy-to-use time recording system that give executives and service professionals the freedom to record time using electronic time data capture, both in real time and retrospectively. This latest version of Timebase, which has been in development over the past 2 years, represents a major leap forward in functionality, stability, ease of use and features for all Timebase users.

“This new version of Timebase, which has predominately been sold to public sector legal departments, show some major developments in time recording and will allow our users to be more productive in their work. Version 10 has also been configured to work equally well within the private sector” commented Jeff Lawler, Managing Partner at Tricostar.

The new version is fully web-based, incorporates a new notes function for the matter, enables Principal Fee Earners (PFE’s) to see all their time costs and incorporates a new ‘My Day’ feature which will allow PFE’s to enter all their days activities and compare the number of hours in the office with time recorded.

Additionally, users will be given licences for Timebase Case Management, Tricostar’s complete case and matter management solution. This will allow users to experience the benefits of the complete system that include; case and matter management, document management, risk management and time recording. For legal departments it will help towards gaining or maintaining Lexcel accreditation.
