Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council Chose Timebase Case Management
Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council has chosen Timebase Case Management to help them operate a new Case Management system within their Legal Services Department. The Borough's legal department has opted for Timebase Case Management as part of a wider drive to increase the efficiency of their Case Management handling. The department provides comprehensive in-house legal support to the whole of Sefton MBC and therefore requires a flexible tool capable of handling and recording a wide variety of cases. Sefton, which was previously using Tricostar's Timebase system for over 12 years, looked at a variety of systems that would support Legal Service's on-going drive for greater efficiency.Dave McCullough, Senior Solicitor at Sefton MBC explained: "We examined a number of systems, and after a lot of consideration, Timebase Case Management was selected. We needed a service, which is highly flexible, yet easy to use and provided good continuity to our time recorders. We are also part of the North West Consortium and so also need a system that could operate in a Shared Service environment; as a number of other local authorities had expressed an interest in joining with us on an externally hosted server. Timebase Case Management met all those requirements. Additionally, as we have worked with Tricostar for many years, we were confident of the level of support and service they provide".Jeff Lawler at Tricostar explained: "We are delighted that Sefton chose to move on to Timebase Case Management. We have worked with them for many years and look forward to expanding the system into a Shared Service environment".
