Stockton on Tees Borough Council has chosen Timebase Case Management (TCM) for its Legal Services Team.

The Audit Commission named Stockton as a top rated Council in its 2007 comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) and it is one of the only two English Councils to achieve the highest rating for its "Use of Resources" The Legal Team provides a comprehensive in-house legal support to the Council and therefore required a flexible tool capable of handling and recording a wide variety of cases. They have also chosen digital dictation supplied by Big Hand which is integrated with TCM.Julie Grant, Head of Legal Services for Stockton Council, explained: "Following the tendering process the Timebase Case Management system emerged as a system delivering best value. Not only is it easy to use but it is also flexible, provides a high degree of functionality, including time recording, sophisticated case management, court bundling and digital dictation, all of which will help us to continually improve our service".Jeff Lawler at Tricostar explained: "We are delighted that Stockton on Tees Borough Council chose Timebase Case Management and look forward to working with them for many years".
